The Joy Formidable
The Joy Formidable is a Welsh alt rock band, formed in 2007 in North Wales and currently based in London, England. The band consists of Rhiannon “Ritzy” Bryan (lead vocals, guitar), Rhydian Dafydd (bass, vocals) and Matthew James Thomas (drums, percussion).
The band broke through in 2011, after the release of its official debut, “The Big Roar,” and quickly earned a reputation for frills-free, ’90s-reminiscent rock.
