Not only does Lzzy Hale front record-breaking GRAMMY® Award-winning platinum rock band Halestorm, but her voice also echoes throughout popular culture at large.
Since co-founding the band in her teens, she has quietly cemented herself as a powerhouse vocalist, deft and dynamic guitarist, and influential force at the forefront of a faithful fanbase. To date, the group’s catalogue encompasses RIAA Platinum and Gold singles, in addition to streams in excess of one billion—all unprecedented accolades for modern rock.
They logged two back-to-back Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, namely Into The Wild Life[2015] and Vicious[2018]. The musicians notably scored the 2013 GRAMMY® Award for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance” in recognition of “Love Bites (So Do I)”. The latter smash affirmed the quartet’s place in the history books as “the first female-fronted band to hit #1 on the Active Rock radio charts.”
In 2019, “Uncomfortable” earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Rock Performance” and became their fourth #1 at Rock Radio. Loudwire named the band “Rock Artist of the Decade.”
In the last few years, Lzzy’s reach has expanded to television personality and advocate for women and mental health. She regularly hosts AXS TV’s “A Year In Music,” appeared as one of the panel judges on Hit Parader’s upcoming “No Cover” alongside Gavin Rossdale and Bishop Briggs, and provided the singing voice for Bella Thorne in “Paradise City” on Prime Video. She hosted the GRAMMY® Premiere Ceremony in 2019 and last year joined the GRAMMY® Mental Health Panel in addition to delivering the keynote address at the Little Kids Rock Modern Band Summit, and hosting the annual She Rocks Awards presented by the Women’s International Music Network.
She once again made history as the first-ever female brand ambassador for Gibson Guitars.
